Job Responsibilities
Process Optimization: Analyze existing production processes to identify inefficiencies, reduce cycle times, and improve overall yield and productivity.
SOP Development: Design, create, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) to ensure consistent quality and safety across all production lines.
Technical Support: Provide daily technical support to the production team to troubleshoot process-related issues, reduce downtime, and resolve quality bottlenecks.
New Product Introduction (NPI): Collaborate with R&D and Product Development teams to scale up new products from prototype to mass production, ensuring process feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, scrap rates, and material usage; prepare detailed technical reports and data-driven recommendations for management.
Equipment Integration: Assist in the selection, installation, and validation of new production equipment/machinery, ensuring proper alignment with process requirements.
Continuous Improvement: Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives to eliminate waste and foster a culture of continuous process improvement.
Compliance: Ensure that all processes strictly adhere to safety, health, and environmental (SHE) regulations, as well as quality certifications (e.g., ISO, GMP, IATF).
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 2–4 years of experience as a Process Engineer or in a similar manufacturing operations role.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and process simulation tools.
Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing tools (Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA).
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and data analysis software (e.g., Minitab, Excel advanced).
Analytical Ability: Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to translate technical data into actionable process improvements.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively between production, maintenance, quality, and R&D departments.
Attitude: Innovative, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a high-pressure manufacturing environment.
Language: Proficiency in technical English (written and spoken) is a significant advantage.
